Job Description

E & J Geothermal, INC is growing, and currently has positions available for HVAC Installers / Duct work installers / HVAC Apprentices. E & J Geothermal, INC is based out of Solon, Iowa and has been in business since 1976. E & J Geothermal installs all types of HVAC equipment, with a specialty in geothermal heating and cooling systems.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and means of transportation
  • Strong work ethic/ attitude
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team setting
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Must show up on time

Job Duties (Not limited to this list)

  • Installing HVAC equipment
  • Installing duct work
  • Sizing of duct systems (assistance available if needed)
  • Brazing and/or soldering
  • Reading blueprints
  • EPA 408 certification preferable
  • Journeyman's License preferred or in process of completing apprenticeship
