• New Construction or Retrofit: A new heat pump system is very affordable in a new construction application, but is also a great choice to replace an existing conventional heating and cooling system.
• Distribution Type: Most geothermal heat pump system we install in the Iowa City area are water to air, and distribute conditioned air through interior ductwork. However they are also available in a water to water configuration to support radiant or baseboard heat, or hydronic air handlers.
• Loop Type: Close loop systems can be horizontally installed at between 4 and 6' depending on soil conditions.
